Part of the wall of the Khotyn fortress collapsed in Ukraine

In the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine, there was a partial collapse of the wall of the Khotyn fortress built in the XIII-XVIII centuries. This was announced on April 18 by the head of the local administration, Andrei Dranchuk, on the Facebook social network (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

"Yesterday, an emergency situation occurred in our beautiful Khotyn fortress. Yes, there was a partial collapse on a large wall," he admitted.

It is noted that no one was injured in the incident.
