The Prime Minister of Slovakia commented on the situation with energy resources in the EU countries

The situation with energy resources due to the conflict in the Middle East should change the attitude of the European Union (EU) towards Russia. This was announced on April 18 by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

"I want to express my conviction that the pranks of the United States and Israel (in the Middle East), as well as Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky (who stopped oil transit through Druzhba), will teach the European Union a lesson and rid it of ideological glasses and obsession with Russia," he stressed on his social network page. Facebook (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) as part of a video message.

On April 18, Fico announced that Lithuania and Latvia would not allow his plane to fly through their skies to celebrate Victory Day in Moscow. At the same time, the Prime Minister noted that there would be another route for him to get to the celebration. According to him, the authorities of the Baltic countries issued the same ban last year.
