Pakistan, as a mediator, conveyed to the representatives of Iran new US proposals for negotiations, which are currently being studied. This was announced on April 18 by the Supreme National Security Council (NSC) of the Islamic Republic in an official statement.

"Over the past few days, during the stay of the commander of the Pakistani army in Tehran as an intermediary, new US proposals were presented, which Iran is studying," Tasnim news agency quoted a fragment of the statement.
