In the Holosiivsky district of Kiev, an unknown person opened fire on people. This was announced on April 18 by the press service of the city police.

"In Kiev, an unknown person opened fire on people — the police are conducting a special operation to detain the criminal. According to preliminary information, one person was killed," the Telegram channel said.

According to local media, the number of victims has increased to four. According to local residents, an unidentified man in his 60s was shooting at people. He allegedly locked himself in a grocery store and took several people hostage, Ukrainskaya Pravda reports.
