Air defense forces shot down 46 Ukrainian UAVs over Russian regions

The Air Defense Forces shot down 46 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the regions of Russia in eight hours. This was announced on April 18 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"In the period from 08:00 to 16:00 Moscow time, 46 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of an airplane type were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.

According to the Ministry of Defense, drones were eliminated over the territories of Samara, Bryansk, Belgorod, Vologda, Kursk, Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan regions and over the Black Sea.

Air defense systems destroyed 258 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the territory of Russia overnight. Russian forces eliminated enemy drones over the Volgograd, Kursk, Novgorod, Rostov, Smolensk, Tambov, Pskov, Leningrad, Samara, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Saratov, Astrakhan, Ulyanovsk regions.
