Russia should not be compared to a "paper tiger", its patience is not infinite. This was stated on April 18 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum.

"This chorus of voices that we shouldn't be afraid of Russia, maybe someone calls us a "paper tiger" too, like [US President Donald] Trump called NATO. But I would warn against such parallels," he said.

According to Lavrov, patience is inherent in Russia's character. However, it bursts sometime, the minister warned.

"I think it's even good that no one understands where this red line is," the foreign minister added.
