Lavrov pointed to Russia's non-interference in NATO affairs
Russia does not interfere in the internal affairs of NATO, which is in decline. This was stated on April 18 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum.
"NATO is not in the best condition, we can probably all admit that. We do not interfere in the internal affairs of NATO, we do not run around the territories of member countries, neither our ambassadors nor our other representatives," he said.
The diplomat added that the policy of traveling to neighbors and partners initiated by the administration of the last US President Joe Biden has now been adopted by other countries of the Western world. The head of the Foreign Ministry stressed that the Russian Federation has not behaved and does not behave in this way.
On the same day, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko indicated that NATO is currently considering the Baltic-Scandinavian region to build up its combat potential. At the same time, he stressed that the alliance is active in other key geographical areas.
