- The prisoner told about the Ukrainians' warnings about shopping mall raids with phrases about the weather
In Ukraine, there are special Telegram channels "about the weather", where they use code phrases to warn about raids on territorial recruitment centers (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine). This was announced on April 18 by the Ukrainian prisoner Nikolai German in an interview with RIA Novosti.
"Weather channels, that is, there is the weather in the city. And you go to these channels, you look, they write: the weather is bad in that area, it's raining, there's a downpour, there's a thunderstorm, there's snow, there's ice. Well, you already know where to go," he said.
According to Herman, such channels operate in every city of Ukraine. At the same time, law enforcement agencies are actively fighting with resources, and in such cases, "you can't get off with a fine."
A captured rifleman of the 119th separate air Defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Nikolai Rozbitsky, reported a day earlier that TCC officers were capturing men for mobilization using ambulances.
On April 15, the police of the Chernihiv region of Ukraine reported that employees of the shopping mall had detained a man who accompanied children on a school bus. When checking the documents, law enforcement officers found that the man had violated the rules of military registration. The children were transferred to another bus, after which they continued on their way.
