One person was killed and 12 injured when a bus overturned in Transbaikalia

A passenger bus carrying foreigners overturned in the Trans-Baikal Territory, killing one person. This was announced on April 18 by the press service of the regional government of the Trans-Baikal Territory.

"An accident with a passenger bus occurred <...> on the A-350 Chita-Zabaikalsk highway near the Kharanor station," the VKontakte social network said.

According to preliminary data, the driver lost control, drove off the road, after which the vehicle overturned. The regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that as a result of the incident, 12 people were injured in various degrees of severity, and they are receiving medical assistance.

According to the regional Ministry of Planning, the bus was heading from Manchuria to Chita. Currently, the injured foreigners are being prepared for transportation to Chita.

The day before, two people died and five more were injured in a traffic accident with a passenger bus in Solikamsk in the Perm Region. The accident happened on Mira Street. Three victims, including two minors, were hospitalized, and two more refused medical care.
