On April 18, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko admitted that Western politicians might envy his support among the population of Belarus.

"We have a certain envy for each other among politicians...> God forbid that some Western politician has not 78% [of the population's support], not 80%, but at least 60%," he said in an interview with RT journalist Rick Sanchez.
