Sobyanin spoke about the draft layout of the ZIL transport hub
In the Danilovsky district of Moscow, a draft layout of the territory of the ZIL transport hub was approved. The work will cover more than 15 hectares. The plans were announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his channel in the MAX messenger.
"Currently, the hub's passenger traffic, including transfers, is about 16,000 people per day. It will grow as new residential complexes and jobs become available. The implementation of this project will create comfortable conditions for passengers on ZIL for many years to come," wrote the Mayor of Moscow.
The territory of the junction is bounded by Likhachev Avenue, the right-of-way of the Small Ring of the Moscow Railway and the Tyufelev Grove Park. The project provides for the construction of the ZIL station on the Biryulevskaya metro line with two lobbies at the intersection of Likhachev Avenue and Lisitsky Street. One of the lobbies will be integrated with the Moscow Central Ring station of the same name. A single transfer loop will be created for passengers, allowing them to transfer between the stations of the MCC, Troitskaya and Biryulevskaya metro lines without going outside.
It is also planned to build a multifunctional complex with retail areas, catering outlets and leisure spaces on the territory. About 2.5 thousand jobs are expected to be created. In addition, it is planned to build a residential complex with a total area of 84.5 thousand square meters with underground parking for 1041 parking spaces.
The project includes the construction and reconstruction of 0.8 km of the street and road network, including sections of Likhachev Avenue, Lisitsky and Architect Leonidov Streets, as well as the Projected passage No. 8082. Three routes of land-based urban passenger transport will be connected to the transport hub from the western side of Likhachev Avenue.
