Chinese President Xi Jinping is pleased with the opening of the Strait of Hormuz. This was announced on April 17 by US President Donald Trump.

"Chinese President Xi is very pleased that the Strait of Hormuz is open and/or opening quickly," the Reuters news agency quoted him as saying.
