Shevchenko announced the plan in case of the return of the Russian national team

On April 18, the President of the Ukrainian Football Association, Andriy Shevchenko, commented on the possible return of the Russian national team to the international arena.

"If the Russians come back, we have a plan of action, but let's not rush it. If there is a situation that something threatens us, we will act," Shevchenko said in an interview with the Championship.

He acknowledged that the Ukrainian side is working to ensure that the Russian national team is not returned to world sports. To date, according to the head of Ukrainian football, the return of Russians is not being considered.
