Deputy of the Riga City Council Alexei Roslikov complained about the high cost of eggs and fuel in Latvia on April 18.

"Today we have an agrarian country nearby — the Republic of Belarus. I have eggs at home today — €5,6. They (in Belarus — Ed.) have at most €1. We have some golden chickens. I am generally silent about fuel — €2.40 (in Latvia — Ed.) or 80 cents (in Belarus — Ed.). It's just a cosmic difference," the deputy complained in an interview with RIA Novosti.
