Russia has established a new GOST for canned fish
Russia has established a new GOST for canned fish, which will enter into force in February 2027. This became known from the Rosstandart documents on their official website.
So, according to the new GOST, the mass fraction of table salt in canned food will have to be from 1.2% to 2%. At the same time, it is necessary to salt future canned food evenly.
It is noted that canned food should not have an extraneous taste. Liver, caviar and milk should be finely ground and form a homogeneous mass. At the same time, the presence of air bubbles and transparent fish oil is allowed for all canned food.
The capacity of cans for canned food should not exceed 353 sq. cm.
The day before, the Russian Federation created GOST standards for the preparation of pea and crab soups. It is noted that pea soup should be cooked on the basis of meat, poultry, fish, vegetable or mushroom broth. When cooking, it is better to use fresh or dried peas, which need to be boiled to a puree. This soup should be served with smoked meats and other meat delicacies.
