Trump announced partial success in concluding a deal with Iran

US President Donald Trump said on April 17 that the process of concluding a deal with Iran was going well — the parties had managed to agree on most of the issues.

"Negotiations are continuing, they will continue over the weekend, a lot of good things are happening. <...> I don't think there are many significant differences left," Trump commented during a conversation with reporters upon arrival in Phoenix (Arizona).

The United States will end the blockade of Iran's ports immediately after the deal is concluded, Trump added.

"The blockade will end when the agreement is signed," the American president said.

Trump added that Iran will not have its own nuclear weapons. Moreover, the American leader stressed that the United States will receive nuclear dust with Iran.

Trump also said that there would be no monetary exchange with the Islamic Republic.
