UK opened a case after fatal bus accident in Solikamsk
A criminal case has been opened in Solikamsk (Perm Krai) after a bus accident that killed two people. This is reported by the regional SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
The accident occurred on Friday afternoon, April 17, on Mira Street. The driver of an Opel Corsa car drove into oncoming traffic and crashed into a PAZ bus.
As a result of the collision, the driver and passenger of the car were killed. According to the mayor of Solikamsk, Alexander Rusanov, these are men aged 39 and 33. Five bus passengers were also injured, three of them, including two minors, were hospitalized, writes <url> news agency.
The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements." All the circumstances of the fatal accident are being established.
On the same morning in Yaroslavl, a Mitsubishi Outlander crashed into a passenger bus, the driver of which also drove into oncoming traffic. As a result, 11 people were injured.
