The case of embezzlement of 634 million rubles during the construction of roads in the Urals was brought to court

A criminal investigation into the embezzlement of 634 million rubles during road construction in the Solnechny microdistrict has been completed in Yekaterinburg. This is reported by the prosecutor's office of the Sverdlovsk region.

The person involved in the case is the director of UralDorTechnology LLC. The investigation believes that in April 2023, he signed a contract for the construction of road infrastructure under the national project in Solnechny, but initially he was not going to fulfill his obligations in full.

According to the contract, the company received an advance of 50% for a total amount of 634 million rubles. The funds were transferred to the accounts of organizations controlled by the director, while the customer was provided with forged documents about the allegedly completed work.

The director of Uraldotechnologies LLC is charged under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Fraud, using official position, on a large scale." The property of the organization was seized, including 87 pieces of equipment with a total value of more than 440 million rubles.

The investigation of the criminal case has been completed. The materials were submitted to the Verkh-Isetsky District Court of Yekaterinburg for consideration on the merits.
