Coach Tarasova's nephew announced her possible discharge next week.

Honored USSR figure skating coach Tatiana Tarasova may be discharged from the hospital next week. This was announced on April 17 by her nephew Alexei Tarasov.

"Her conditions are good and decent. And I think she should be home next week," he told TASS.

According to Tarasov, the coach also liked the conditions of detention in the medical facility. He added that the reason for the hospitalization was the effects of acute respiratory viral infections.

Tarasova was admitted to the intensive care unit on April 15. It was noted that despite the satisfactory state of health of the coach, the doctors decided to leave her in the hospital. Shortly after, her nephew noted that Tarasova was on the mend and her condition had improved. However, he did not mention the reasons for his hospitalization at the time.
