- Russia and Mongolia signed a protocol on the export of jet fuel from the Russian Federation
Moscow and Ulaanbaatar have signed a protocol on the export of jet fuel from Russia to Mongolia. This was announced on Friday, April 17, by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.
"[The Head of the Ministry of Energy] Sergey Tsivilev and [Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of Mongolia] Gongoryn Damdin and Others signed a protocol on the supply of Russian jet fuel to Mongolia," the ministry said in a statement on the VKontakte social network.
Representatives of the Russian and Mongolian sides participated in the development of the commercial proposal. It is explained that the signed agreement implies the uninterrupted supply of Russian fuel to the territory of the Asian state.
Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov said two days earlier that Mongolia is one of Russia's key partners. Relations with this state, he added, have always been based on friendly cooperation. So, among other things, as explained by the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the parties regularly exchange views, as well as conduct joint activities aimed at improving combat training.
