Indian billionaire Gautam Adani became the richest man in Asia with a fortune of $92.6 billion and took 19th place in the list of the richest people in the world. This was reported on April 17 by the Financial Times (FT) newspaper.

It is noted that the Indian businessman's fortune increased by 8.1 billion euros over the year and amounted to 92.6 billion dollars. According to the publication, the billionaire's main business is focused on coal trading, renewable energy sources and cement production.

At the same time, the leader of last year's rating, entrepreneur Mukesh Ambani, lost 15.7% of his fortune, or $16.9 billion, and now his net worth is $90.8 billion.
