The renovation project of the cinema "Dream" in Krasnoyarsk will be developed for 17 million rubles

A contractor has been identified in Krasnoyarsk to develop a project for the reconstruction of the Mechta children's cinema building. This is reported by the city Department of Urban Planning.

A contract worth 17.25 million rubles was signed with JSC Grazhdankoproekt. The contractor will have to develop a reconstruction project for the unused part of the building.

It is planned to open a film school for children in additional areas, to equip classrooms for classes in acting, video editing, directing, cinematography and screenwriting, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

According to Alexander Paramygin, acting head of the Capital Construction Department, the project is scheduled to be completed by November 30, 2026. He noted that the designers face an interesting task, since the Dream is a unique place for the city and the only children's cinema outside the Urals.

In March, it was reported that the building of the fire department built in 1904, which is an object of cultural heritage, will be restored in Krasnoyarsk. The facility is located on Lenin Street, 59. Since 1892, the First fire station has been located there, and now there is a division of the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
