Krasnoyarsk doctors will start paying extra every month for rental housing

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, medical workers will receive compensation for rental housing every month. Amendments to the regional law "On compensation for the cost of paying for the rental of residential premises for medical workers" were supported in the first reading by deputies of the legislative Assembly of the region.

So far, payments are made once a quarter. According to Ilya Zaitsev, head of the Committee on Health and Social Policy, cited by KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the amendments will reduce the financial burden on specialists. In addition, they will make the support measure more convenient and attract new specialists. Over time, it became clear that this is an effective tool that is in demand by doctors.

The agency notes that over the past two years, about 1.6 thousand medical workers have received compensation. About 170 million rubles were allocated from the regional budget for these purposes.

In March, it was reported that free vaccination against human papillomavirus (HPV) was introduced in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In 2026, girls aged 12 can receive a free vaccination. Vaccination will be available for medical reasons for children with a hereditary predisposition to cervical cancer, HIV-infected, orphaned children, children from large families and those left without parental care.
