- About 4 billion rubles will be allocated for sewage treatment plants on Russian Island
Wastewater treatment plants are being reconstructed on Russian Island in Vladivostok. The authorities are looking for a contractor who will design the reconstruction of the complex.
More than 151 million rubles have already been allocated for these purposes. The total amount of investments in the project may reach about 4 billion rubles. Information about this is posted on the public procurement portal.
According to IA PrimaMedia, it is planned to put in order a complex of buildings and facilities for domestic wastewater treatment. The contractor under the contract must perform engineering surveys, prepare design documentation for the repair of the capital construction facility and receive a positive conclusion from the state expert examination.
The work must be completed by December 4, 2026. At the first stage, gravity collectors will be reconstructed and their capacity will be increased to the full capacity of the treatment facilities.
Primorsky Krai will receive funds for the design of new wastewater treatment plants as part of the presidential Far Eastern subsidy. It is necessary to transfer wastewater from the desalinating Novik Bay to the Ussuriysky Bay.
Earlier it was reported that the energy development plan for the Far East includes the construction of two nuclear power plants, Khabarovsk and Primorsky. The construction of the facilities is planned to be synchronized. It involves several stages, including the design and preparation of the site. The construction site has already been identified. This is the north of the Khabarovsk region next to a large lake.
