The first ten residents of the second stage of the Skolkovo creative cluster have been identified in Moscow. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his channel in the IACH.

The second stage of the cluster will develop an artificial intelligence-based platform for searching individual scenes in video files and a neural network for generating music based on text, Sobyanin said. The new residents will also create realistic digital avatars capable of real-time dialogue, and innovative building lighting for the projection of art installations.

Sobyanin noted that the cluster continues to accept applications for the placement of media technologies. More than 100 requests have already been received from entrepreneurs.

A new creative cluster specializing in video games, animation, and media technologies was opened at the Skolkovo Innovation Center in November last year. 44 video game companies and eight animation companies have become its residents.

As part of the first phase, a data processing center, a motion capture studio for creating realistic graphics, a recording studio, a photogrammetry studio, and a cinema room for viewing and correcting finished materials have begun work in the cluster. The second stage is scheduled to be completed in 2026, with infrastructure for media technology developers and offices for startups.
