Every sixth resident of Ukraine would like to leave the country in the near future, thereby changing their permanent place of residence. This was announced by Alexey Antipovich, head of the Rating sociological group.

According to the UNIAN news agency, among young people aged 18-29, one in five (about 20%) want to leave the country, and about 14% among the 18-35 age group. At the same time, representatives of the older generations are not so strongly inclined to emigrate.

Antipovich suggested that, unlike the adult generation working in Ukraine and having all the benefits they need, young people do not have such stability, and they tend to stay away from home to get an education and great career opportunities.

Men express their willingness to change their place of residence much more readily than women. The sociologist connects this with the issues of mobilization.
