Iran welcomes the truce between Lebanon and Israel. This was announced by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 16.

"The official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Bagai, welcomed the cease—fire in Lebanon, recalling that stopping the war in Lebanon was part of the agreement between Iran and the United States on a truce," the publication says in the official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic.
