The Moscow Zoo has a new resident, a striped couscous named Baranka, which can now be seen in the exhibition enclosure. This was announced on Thursday, April 16, by the Moscow Department of Culture.
It is noted that the animal arrived at the zoo last fall and was quarantined for several months, undergoing adaptation. In April, couscous was transferred to the aviary of the Night World pavilion, where visitors can see it.

In early April, Humboldt penguin chicks were born at the Moscow Zoo. The chicks began to be born in early January with an interval of several days.
