The Russian Championship. Krasnodar — Baltika

In the upcoming 25th round of the RPL, there will be no bright posters in the form of top confrontations of principled rivals. But from the point of view of the standings, there is an obvious central match in which the leader and reigning champion Krasnodar will take on the main sensation of the season, Kaliningrad Baltic, fighting for the bronze medals.

April 19th, 7:30 p.m. Ozon Arena Stadium (Krasnodar).

Live broadcasts on Match TV and Match Premier.

Hockey

Gagarin Cup. The quarterfinals. Fifth and sixth matches

The KHL has almost decided on the entire composition of the playoff semifinalists. Avangard, Ak Bars and Lokomotiv have already passed there. Metallurg can join them as early as April 17. He leads 3-1 in the series with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod and must win one more match to be in the semifinals. This may happen following the results of the fifth meeting, which will be held at the home arena of Magnitogorsk. If Torpedo wins, the team will have another game on April 19 in Nizhny Novgorod. If the Ural club doesn't put the squeeze on the opponent there, then everything will be decided in the final, seventh match on April 21 in Magnitogorsk.

April 17, 17:00, Metallurg Arena (Magnitogorsk).
April 19, 17:00, KSK Nagorny (Nizhny Novgorod) in case of Torpedo victory.

Live broadcasts on Match TV, KHL TV and KHL Prime.

The continental Judo Championship is taking place in Tbilisi, which is one of the first major tournaments since 2022 where Russians compete under their own flag and anthem. On the first day of the competition, on April 16, our team already won the first gold — Murad Chopanov became the European champion of the category up to 66 kg. In total, Russia is represented by 18 athletes — nine each for men and women. Our women compete in all categories, and men in five (there are no Russians only in the 60 and 73 kg categories). There is hope that the Russians will get on the podium at this European Championship more than once.
