Zakharova commented on the victory of the Magyar party in the parliamentary elections

Russia intends to judge Peter Magyar's Tisa party, which won the parliamentary elections in Hungary, based on new policy documents and steps towards their implementation. This was stated on April 16 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a briefing.

"In accordance with the Hungarian constitution, its leader Peter Magyar will have to form a new government in May this year. <...> We consider it advisable to wait for the publication of his program documents and concrete steps to implement them," Zakharova said.

She added that at the same time, Russia does not refuse to cooperate with the country and respects the choice of the Hungarian people.
