More than 20 people suffered from tick bites in the Pskov region

Over the past week, 23 people in the Pskov region have sought medical help due to tick bites. There are six children among the injured.

In total, more than 70 bite cases have been registered since the beginning of the season, which is 70% less than the long-term average. According to the Pskov News feed, 131 cases were registered in the same period of 2025.

67 ticks were received for research in the laboratory. 20.8% of individuals were carriers of borreliosis, and another 2.98% were carriers of granulocytic anaplasmosis.

In the Lipetsk region, 188 people sought medical help in connection with tick bites.
