The center of national sports is planned to be created in the capital of Buryatia

There are plans to open a National sports Center in Ulan-Ude (Republic of Buryatia). The City Council of Deputies announced this on its page on the VKontakte social network on Thursday, April 16.

The center is planned to be created on the basis of sports school No. 14. Four sports will be developed in it: Buryat wrestling buhe barildaan, national archery, the Buryat version of the chess game Shataar and the national game Shagai Naadan.

On April 16, at a meeting of the Committee on social policy, the project was presented by the chairman of the Committee on Physical Culture and Sports, Andrei Dzyubenko, UlanMedia clarifies. In turn, Denis Egorov, chairman of the relevant committee, announced the deputies' readiness to support and consider all options.

"National sports not only preserve traditions, but also unite people of different nationalities. This will create a platform for communication, exchange of experience and strengthening friendship between peoples," the message says on the City Council's page.

In January, it was reported that the State Expert Examination approved a project for the construction of a new campus of the Buryat Republican Multidisciplinary College of Innovative Technologies (GAPOU BRMTIT). The laboratory complex with an area of more than 6 thousand square meters will house classrooms and laboratories, the technological building will include many workshops.
