Russia allegedly intends to occupy one of the islands located in the Baltic Sea, and thereby test the strength of the North Atlantic Alliance. This was reported on Thursday, April 16, by the British newspaper the Times, citing the Commander-in-Chief of the Swedish Armed Forces, Mikael Klasson.

"Country (Sweden. — Ed.) is preparing for the fact that Moscow may at any moment test the alliance by taking control of one of the islands in the Baltic Sea," the article says.
