The program of the closing days of the Easter Gift Festival is presented
On the weekend of April 18 and 19, Moscow will host the final program of the Easter Gift charity festival. Master classes, concerts, and sports competitions are organized for the guests, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
"Performances based on fairy tales, charity fairs, performances by participants of the Moscow Youth project and choral groups have been prepared for residents and guests of the capital. Children and their parents are invited to creative activities. The children will use them to make holiday cards with their own hands, weave baskets for Easter eggs and learn how to cook cakes," said Sergunina.
Concerts and theatrical performances will be held in dozens of locations. Participants of the Moscow Youth project will perform on Tverskaya Square on April 18. On the same day, a puppet show "The Tale of Ivan Tsarevich, the Firebird and the Gray Wolf" will be shown on the site on Grekov Street, and a production of "Puss in Boots" will be staged on Koptevsky Boulevard.
On April 19, a family concert will be held on the territory of the church of St. Sergius of Radonezh. Choirs, a ballroom dance ensemble, and children's theater artists will take part in it.
Actions of non-profit organizations will also be held as part of the festival. Those who wish can support city NGOs, send gifts to the heroes of the special military operation and children from new regions. The "Houses of Kindness" of the Moscow Helps project are operating on the sites.
In total, about 40 charitable foundations participate in the festival. They introduce residents and guests of the capital to their socially significant initiatives. Charity fairs are held at some venues. In the chalet on Pushkinskaya Embankment, non—profit organizations sell knitted toys and bags, handmade bracelets and Easter candles, while on Tverskaya Square they sell ceramic dishes, soap and pottery. The program on Tverskaya Boulevard was dedicated to the support of homeless animals. There are lectures by social activists and dog handlers, consultations by veterinarians, an exhibition of dogs and cats from Moscow shelters.
