Korean SUV KGM Rexton presented in Russia in a new version
Sales of a new version of the KGM Rexton full-size frame SUV from the South Korean manufacturer, formerly known as SsangYong, are starting in Russia. Unlike the model that was presented in Russia at the beginning of last year, the novelty is distinguished by the presence of a third row of seats. This is stated in the message of the distribution company Rex Motors, which was received by Izvestia on April 16.
The KGM Rexton is offered with a third row of seats in the new top-of-the-line "Extra 4X4" version. The rear sofa is equipped with three-point seat belts, headrests, and separate air conditioning ducts. The equipment also includes a sunroof and side sills, leather and suede interior upholstery, automatic power windows for the rear doors, memory settings for rear-view mirrors and the driver's seat. Two 12.3-inch displays, an all-round viewing system, dual-zone climate control and other options are provided.
The SUV is equipped with a 225-horsepower gasoline two-liter turbo engine with a torque of 350 Nm and a six-speed Aisin automatic transmission. A four-wheel drive system with a plug-in downshift (part-time) is provided.
The price of the new flagship version of KGM Rexton is 6.5 million rubles. In the basic configuration, the SUV will cost 5.89 million rubles, in the interim — 6.3 million rubles (prices are shown without special offers for cars manufactured in 2025).
On this day, it was reported that a test car of the new Russian brand Jeland was assembled at the automobile plant of the AGR holding in Shushary. This is a crossover that will be sold under the J6 index.
