A woman died in a fire in a garden house in Angarsk.

In the city of Angarsk, Irkutsk region, a 51-year-old woman died as a result of a fire in a garden house. This is reported by the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

The fire occurred late in the evening on April 15 on the territory of gardening "Topolek-1". During the extinguishing, a member of the gas and smoke protection service found the deceased owner of the house on the floor in the room.

The fire area was 40 square meters. m. Nine people and two tanker trucks were involved in extinguishing it, IrkutskMedia news agency writes.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the investigators found that the woman had fallen asleep with an unlit cigarette, which is why the fire started.

On March 15, a fire occurred in Cheremkhovo, Irkutsk region. As a result, a 45-year-old man died. The cause of the fire was also an unopened cigarette.
