A pragmatic dialogue in the global world and structural changes to return the economy to a growth trajectory within the country will be discussed as part of the SPIEF 2026 business program.
The architecture of the business program of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), which will be held from June 3-6, 2026, has been published. The main theme of the Forum is "Pragmatic dialogue — the way to a stable future."
"At a time when the old mechanisms of global regulation are losing their effectiveness, it is a pragmatic and equitable dialogue based on mutual respect for interests that is of particular value. That is why the architecture of the business program is built around four key semantic blocks that reflect the current picture of the day in the global economy. At the same time, within the framework of the Russian track of the program, we need to find solutions to return the country's economy to a growth trajectory, and within the framework of the international track, we need to discuss the real processes of transformation of the global economy and the transition to a multipolar model. The Forum is a platform where business, government and civil society do not just discuss challenges, but develop concrete solutions to ensure sustainable growth in their countries and long–term stability in the world," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee.
The thematic block "Global Growth Platform: Shaping a new development model" includes two areas: the sub-block "World Economy: between confrontation and cooperation" is dedicated to finding a balance in the context of geopolitical tensions and regionalization. Among the key topics are the formation of a new model of global development, the role of the EAEU in agricultural production markets, the development of multimodal logistics in Arab and African countries, the evolution of digital platforms, the interaction of tax services of the BRICS countries, the Transarctic transport corridor, the transformation of tax systems, the architecture of the global fuel and energy complex, the restructuring of the global financial system, the geopolitics of finance and the role of diplomacy in a global environment. turbulence.
The sub-block "Russian economy: structural changes to return to the growth trajectory" focuses on the internal drivers of development in the new geo-economic conditions. Among the priorities are structural changes, social architecture projects, creation of growth points for territories, the Siberian development belt: growth potential, platform economy: digital platforms and a new national model of trading activity, presentation of the results of the National Rating of the investment Climate in the regions of Russia.

The main topics include the development of artificial intelligence, its impact on energy and healthcare, robotics, digital sovereignty and the formation of global technological leadership.A special place will be occupied by issues of intellectual property, digital treasury, the future of food technology, new media and the evolution of human, government and business interaction in the digital environment.
The business program will also include business breakfasts and a series of business dialogues with the EAEU and ASEAN countries, as well as with Azerbaijan, Armenia, Brazil, Germany, India, China, Moldova, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Thailand, African and Latin American countries.
