Composer Raymond Pauls was discharged from the hospital

Soviet and Latvian composer Raymond Pauls has been discharged from the hospital after surgery. He announced this in an interview with TASS on April 16.

"It's okay, I'm home," the composer said.

Prior to that, a source told Izvestia that Pauls was undergoing a routine check-up at the hospital.

Pakhmutova, Bashmet, Shakurov and others congratulated the composer on the main stage of the country

On April 14, the composer said that he had been admitted to the hospital due to health problems. Pauls is 90 years old. He wrote music for Alla Pugacheva, Valery Leontiev, Laima Vaikule and many other artists.
