MCD-1 Moscow City station opened in Moscow

The mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, and the head of Russian Railways, Oleg Belozerov, opened the new Moscow city station "Moscow City" on the first line of the Moscow Central Diameters (MCD-1, D1), which was built on the site of the Testovskaya railway station. This was reported on April 16 by the Moscow news agency.

"Today, together with Russian Railways, we are launching the main part of this station, which will transfer about 100,000 passengers per day. In the coming years, I think it will be 140-150 thousand. It will be one of the world's largest transport hubs," the agency quoted Sobyanin as saying in the MAX messenger.
