Russian powerlifter Alexander Pozhidaev was killed in an accident in Thailand. This was announced on April 16 by Svetlana Sherstoboeva, a volunteer of the Russian Federation living in Pattaya.

"22-year-old Russian Alexander Pozhidaev was involved in an accident on April 14, as a result of which he suffered a traumatic brain injury and multiple fractures," she told TASS.

According to Sherstoboeva, after the incident, the man was hospitalized at a local medical facility, but due to the number of injuries, it was not possible to save him.

People were treated for gastrointestinal disorders, elephant spit, and monkey bites.

On March 23, the body of Russian Vadim Lee was found in the Thai province of Rayong, and a suicide note in Russian with the password to the safe was found in his pocket. It was clarified that the safe contained $200 and 10 thousand baht.
