The first rehabilitation center in the south of Russia has been opened in Karachay-Cherkessia, where individual prostheses are created using 3D models. The head of the republic, Rashid Temrezov, told about this at a meeting with Vladimir Putin on April 16. The President noted the contribution of the region to the support of its fighters and asked to continue work on the employment of veterans. The authorities of Karachay-Cherkessia are actively helping the participants of the special operation and their families. More than 50 regional support measures have already been introduced in the republic. A new rehabilitation center has also been opened in Karachay-Cherkessia, where limb replacement using additive technologies is possible. That is, the replacement of visible body defects or lost organs with external artificial structures. "He is the first in the south of Russia. There, during 3D modeling, selection takes place right on the spot," Rashid Temrezov said.
Vladimir Putin asked Rashid Temrezov to send greetings to the soldiers of the 34th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade. Back in February, the head of Karachay-Cherkessia presented them with a battle flag with the president's personal signature. Veterans of the SVO are already serving in local government. One of them even took the chair of the deputy chairman of the government, Rashid Temrezov said. The regional personnel program "School of Heroes" helps in this. The President asked to continue this work.
Meanwhile, Karachay-Cherkessia became one of the 21 regions where the average Russian level in terms of the square footage of housing was exceeded.
