VTB provided residential housing developers with more than 5 billion rubles, approving more than 1,000 projects. This was stated by the head of the regional business lending Department, Senior Vice President of the bank Ivan Rozinsky.
According to him, VTB is expanding the terms of the loan program for developers, which will allow companies to use renewable credit lines, as well as "flexibly manage project financing, reduce the volume of documents provided and speed up the process of obtaining funds." "This is especially important for small businesses that work with phased construction and are in dire need of stable access to finance," Rozinsky said.
Since August 2024, VTB has been operating an escrow financing program for residential housing developers in the SME segment. More than 50% of borrowers participating in the program are representatives of small businesses and individual entrepreneurs.
According to VTB, the segment of individual housing construction is showing steady growth: since 2021, the volume of residential housing construction has exceeded the figures for apartment construction. Among the leading regions are St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, Bashkiria, the Vladimir Region, as well as Moscow and the Moscow Region. The average cost of a private house reaches 8 million rubles, the average loan agreement amount is 6 million rubles.
