The court intends to send a request to the UAE about the presence of blogger Lerchek's property there.

The Russian Arbitration Court intends to send a request to the competent authorities of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to clarify whether any property belonging to blogger Valeria Chekalina (Lerchek), who is under investigation, is registered there. This is stated in the court ruling on April 16.

The court would like to receive information about Chekalina's property, as well as her children, husband, brother and father.

"The request concerns movable and immovable property belonging to them, information about their ownership of shares in the authorized capitals of companies registered in the UAE, shares, statements on open and closed bank accounts," Interfax cites the statement.
