The growing popularity of the image of a traditional wife among girls is associated with fatigue from uncertainty, the influence of social networks and the desire for stability. Psychologist and fire therapist Tatiana Smirnova told Izvestia about this on April 16.

"The traditional family is something understandable, structural, it's about stability, predictability. In conditions of absolute chaos, the role of the wife feels like a safe haven against the background of all this chaos," she said.

According to the expert, digital overload plays an important role: in conditions of constant pressure and the need to meet expectations on social networks, the image of a wife and hostess seems simpler and more authentic.

The expert added that an additional factor is the romanticization of the past, which is actively broadcast in the media space. According to her, interest in traditional values is reinforced by trends and supported by bloggers, creating a sense of security and meaning.

She stressed that social media algorithms enhance the effect: when users are interested in such content, they begin to see it more often, which creates the illusion that such a lifestyle is widespread.

The expert noted that it is important to distinguish an informed choice from the pressure of society. The signs of an independent decision are the ability to justify your choice and an understanding of possible risks, including financial and career constraints. If the choice is dictated by a trend, rigid attitudes and dependence on external approval often appear, Smirnova concluded.

Psychologist, fire therapist Tatiana Smirnova said on April 15 that the feeling of constant lack of resources is not related to greed, but to psychological mechanisms, including the habit of good things, comparison with others and inner anxiety. According to her, the desire to have more is often associated with inner emptiness, lack of self-worth and an attempt to compensate for this through material achievements. An additional factor is anxiety: the desire to accumulate resources is often perceived as a way to protect oneself from uncertainty.
