In Lipetsk, a 68-year-old woman was injured by fraudsters. She transferred more than 1.6 million rubles to outside accounts.

According to the pensioner, on April 7, she received a call from an "employee of the intercom company." The interviewee asked me to dictate the code from an SMS message, ostensibly to make an appointment for an equipment replacement. Then the woman received a call from the FSB, GOROD48 writes. The victim was convinced that she had previously communicated with scammers, and now she needs to "declare" all her savings.

The woman withdrew 1.5 million rubles from two bank deposits, and also withdrew money from the account and transferred them to third-party accounts, allegedly to check the bills. The scammers convinced the pensioner that the procedure would last until April 13. No one contacted us on the appointed date. Then the woman contacted the police.

A criminal case has been opened on this fact.

Since the beginning of 2026, more than 600 cases of remote fraud have been registered in Yakutia. The total damage to citizens exceeded 245 million rubles.
