A designer was arrested in Moscow for financing terrorism.
A court in Moscow has arrested Svetlana Vlasova, a designer at Aviation Interiors LLC, for financing terrorism, according to materials available to Izvestia.
According to the materials, the case against Vlasova was opened in January. Earlier, her detention was extended until April 22.
The investigator insisted on arresting the woman because she could hide from the authorities of the preliminary investigation and the court and continue to engage in criminal activities. The lawyer of the accused asked to choose another measure of restraint not related to detention.
It is clarified that in the materials submitted by the investigator in support of his request, there was sufficient information about the crime that took place and about the validity of Vlasova's suspicion of involvement in the alleged act, which, among other things, is evidenced by the response to a request from NGO Yumani LLC.
It is also reported that in the framework of the case, in particular, a psychological and psychiatric forensic examination has been appointed and the characteristics of the accused have been requested.
On April 3, a court in the Moscow region chose a preventive measure in the form of detention in relation to Galina Umyarova, an instructor of parachute training. It was noted that the woman is suspected of financing terrorist activities by transferring stars in the Telegram messenger.
