In Finland, the artist Repin was called a Ukrainian
In Finland, the Russian artist Ilya Repin was called a "Ukrainian" against the background of increased Russophobia. This was announced on April 16 by Russian Ambassador to Helsinki Pavel Kuznetsov.
"Unfortunately, Russophobia has also affected the cultural sphere. <...> What is worth, at least the decision of the main Finnish art museum Athenaeum to indicate Ilya Repin's nationality as "Ukrainian," he commented in an interview with TASS.
