The blockade of the Strait of Hormuz by the United States may cause the breakdown of the truce in the Middle East. This was announced on April 16 by the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Bagai.
"The blockade of the Strait of Hormuz is a provocative step, illegal from the point of view of international law, and it may lead to the breakdown of the ceasefire. In this case, our armed forces are ready to take the necessary actions," he told RIA Novosti.
