The situation on the border of the Union State is very tense, and the militarization of the economy has intensified in the Baltic States and Poland. This was announced on April 15 by Sergey Naryshkin, Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).

"Unfortunately, Poland and the Baltic states recently withdrew from the Convention on the prohibition of infantry mines. And we see how new fortifications are being created on the eastern borders of these states," TASS quoted him as saying.
