More than 15 thousand applications were received for the ArtMasters Creative Competence Championship

There are less than three weeks left until the end of the bid campaign for the VII season of the ArtMasters National Open Championship of Creative Competencies. Acceptance of applications started on March 4 and will last until April 30, at the moment more than 15 thousand people have registered.

"We are creating a bridge between education and industry, opening doors to the most sought-after creative professions and giving a real chance to realize ourselves. Our championship has already helped many young people find their place in the creative economy, gain recognition and in-demand jobs. Participation in the competition opens up access to a large—scale ecosystem aimed at unlocking everyone's creative potential with the support of business, government and leading industry experts," said Borislav Volodin, Director of ANO ArtMasters.

The Central Federal District received the most applications, with the Volga Federal District in second place and the Northwestern Federal District in third. Moscow is the leader among the regions, followed by St. Petersburg and the Republic of Bashkortostan. In addition, more than 2,500 foreign participants from 131 countries have registered to participate in the ArtMasters Open international team competitions.

The championship includes two age categories: basic (18-35 years old) and "Juniors" (14-17 years old), with a total of 32 competencies available to participants. The list contains the most sought-after destinations. Among them is the operator of the stage mechanics, these specialists ensure the smooth operation of the stage mechanisms, manage the movement of the scenery and are responsible for the technical safety of performances in theaters, concert halls and event venues.

For the main category: Web Designer (UX/UI), Game Designer, Graphic Designer, Theater and Film Playwright, Sound engineer (FON), Composer of popular music, Creative Producer, Curator of exhibition spaces, Motion Designer, Film and TV Operator, Stage Mechanic Operator, Industrial Engineer, Set designer, Technical Producer, Photographer, Makeup artist, Costume Designer, Lighting Designer, Animation Artist, VFX designer.

Participants in the main category most often register for the following competencies: Graphic designer, Photographer, Playwright of theater and cinema.

For "Juniors": 3D designer, Web designer, Video Editor, Videographer, Film and Media Sound engineer, Music video maker, Popular music composer, Producer, Stylist, Screenwriter, Photographer, Animation artist.

Among the juniors, the most popular professions were Photographer, Web designer and Screenwriter.

The competition will be held in three stages: qualifying, qualification and final. The winners will receive cash certificates (first place — up to 750 thousand rubles, second place — up to 500 thousand rubles, third place — up to 250 thousand rubles, for juniors — 300 thousand, 200 thousand and 100 thousand, respectively), as well as opportunities for internships, employment and integration of work into real projects. The status of a finalist and winner of the Championship will be taken into account as an individual achievement when applying to universities in specialized areas of study.

The culmination of the project will be a gala concert on the New Stage of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater, where the official award ceremony will take place. The event will be attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, federal agencies and key figures in the field of creative industries.

The ArtMasters Championship is the main competition for creative industry professionals in Russia, including those in the field of backstage and digital art. The project forms a pool of highly qualified experts and contributes to the expansion of the creative cluster, which corresponds to the priorities of state policy in the field of the development of creative industries and human capital.

The competition is an important part of the ArtMasters ecosystem, which unites creative industry professionals. Participants gain access to a large-scale opportunity platform that supports talents through educational programs, grants, and collaborations. All ArtMasters projects are open to new participants and specialists from Russia and other countries. The ecosystem was created to unleash the creative potential of everyone with the support of business, government and experts in the field of creative industries.

The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. Over the past six years, more than 130,000 people have participated in the Championship. More than 1,700 people became finalists of the project, and 489 people received cash prizes.
